i feel like my life is in complete stasis. i don't seem to know where i'm going and what i wanted. i'm so jealous of people who got it all figure out. right now, all i want is life to temporarily pause so that by the time it starts playing again i won't be lost. gaaaaah. okay enough with the melodramatic intro and lets get it on with my look. this was obviously worn a few weeks back when i had a movie date with the padre and sister. the rain has been out and about all week, not that i hate it so much but i just can't help and miss the colorful sunny days and the slow summer nights.

tried something unusual when i wore this look. what's unusual is my go-to outfit which has to be denim shorts, basic tops and flats, always! with a laid back city like Cebu these kinda outfits are always helpful.

no regrets

that moment in your life when you knew you have to buy a certain thing and never regret it. that's exactly how i felt regarding this pink crochet top i found while randomly shopping with my friend. aside from the fact that it can actually be worn in two seasons, it was also a really cheap bargain! 

these days i've been wearing tops with huge armholes (to the extent where my sister asked me why i've been showing off my bralettes and bandeaus) which is why this top is really a must-have in my closet. the weather is too unbearable here. wearing pants and leggings here only when necessary.

comfort is usually my priority when it comes to dressing up. i believe that a woman looks good in her outfit when she's comfortable on what she's wearing. 

wore a very simple coachella-inspired outfit (i hope its not too late for that) to a movie date with my sister. lately i've been so inclined to wearing huge bags when going out. i carry a lot of stuff with me these days and its important that they all fit in one bag.

back from my short hiatus. and you'd probably guessed where i have been the past few days. unfortunately no, not from coachella (i wish i was, though). but i've been drooling over the pictures from the internet watching all these hippies enjoying the taste of good music from indio. thank goodness to all social networking sites and my fave bloggers for all the photos and keeping me up to date. 

anyway, i'm not giving up my dreams. i'll be in coachella someday. *fingers crossed*

this long cardigan (similar here) is definitely one of my favorites now can be worn in many ways. i know i didn't have a good outfit shot when i first wore this one so here's a better one (i guess?) i hope i gave this really cool cardi a justice.

inspiration: summer 2013

had this post on hold, waiting for the perfect time to share them with you. i just feel too inspired for the warmer days to come; though its mostly warm here in the phil's. well given the fact that we only have two seasons here haha. these days its been 31 degrees or so here and i guess summer is really here. its time to keep our sweaters at the bottom of our closets and time to bring out the cropped denims, cut-out tees, laces, tote bags and our sunnies. its about time we get some tan and feel the sand on our toes.
