wore an all black ensemble today, another sign that we should all bid the colorful summer days goodbye. basic top, wore them like i usually do tucked in front and let loose at the back, black jeans and amp up my look with my new favorite pair, glass shoes/cinderella-esque shoes which i think every girl should have. from the first time i laid my eyes on them, i instantly thought of the many ways on how and where to wear them. i just thought they're too beautiful to let it pass and it seemed like a good investment. my mom was the only thing that kept me from buying them but i obviously i bought them anyway. i remembered about a month ago, she came home with two new pair of shoes and asked me to hide them in my room so my father wouldn't know. and i just did the same when i came home with this and she only found out when i first wore them. ha! like mother like daughter.

this top is my sister's and has been sitting on the closet taken for granted so i took it out and renew it into something i've been wanting to have the past few weeks. i cut out the arm hole and added those studs to give it an edgier look in contrast to its peace-sign print in smileys. also, i put those green zipper at the back for a little surprise effect. 

anyway if you guys are wearing casual and simple outfit and wanted to give it an oomph, you can wear heels and accessorize a bit just like what i did here.

i wore this out a few days ago with le fam bam. 

i've had this skirt since forever which i got from my mother's friend's shop. i've only worn this once. you know that feeling when you just compulsively buy something and you're not even sure when and how to wear them? well, that's basically what happened to this poor skirt. since i last wore this, i told myself that i was never going to wear it again cause i feel uncomfortable wearing them because i'm scared of peek-a-boo's. so, my sister was the beneficiary since. well, anyway a few days back i saw this again on my closet waiting to be noticed and thought of giving it another try. and to my surprise, i was satisfied with the outcome. so, i completed a dainty look (which i'm not really fond of) by wearing this pair of mary jane pumps from cmg.

gender play

i miss outfit posts here. well anyway, here's what i wore today, another casual sunday, an all-black ensemble which is usually not me. haha so i tone down the "morbid" look by wearing a ribbon ring and a pop of pink for my shoes. 

and oh, i'm up with something and i'm so excited about it. so until its final i'm not going to say anything about it. and i know this may sound corny but i don't want to jinx it. hahaha LMAO

shoes the one

 yey for this new pair of shoes! :) haha 

 alexa showed this to me last week, when i tried it on, i liked it instantly. but i didn't know how to ask from my parents 'cause its only less than a month since i last beg for a new pair of shoes.

while i think of it as an investment, my parents think otherwise, especially my dad. but good thing though, 'cause my sister and i found a way for my mom to give in to the shoe freak inside me. she is, after all a shoe freak like me. haha 

this shoe lust didn't developed just recently because i started to love shoes when i was in highschool. i could still remember what i wrote on our year book after asking a close friend of mine what best describes me, she said: "shoe freak" and what i told the class on my first year in college. but over the past years, not that i lost my affection for shoes its just that i became so engrossed and busy with school, i left that shoe freak behind. and now that i'm a few more steps out from college *hopefully*, i added collecting shoes on my bucket/wish list. *so help me God* :D

as promised, here are the photos i took last week from the opening of forever 21 here in Cebu. and yes, if it ain't obvious i was as excited as everyone else here for the opening. 

i really adore the pieces from f21. they're so hippie, young and vibrant and most especially they're so comfy. their most coveted items are shoes and accessories. and well since christmas is fast approaching, hence gift giving is if not a "must" then it would be well appreciated, so guys i'd love to receive anything from f21. they're always welcome in my closet! :D

something new for the holidays

last weekend we received a package from my aunt and uncle. i was so ecstatic when i found out i'll be receiving a new set of make-up and i was even happier when i saw how cute the bag was, it was in an animal print. not only that, when my cousin and i opened the box, we found more animal printed bags in different sizes and wallets as well. haha never thought my aunt's so in love with animal prints. thank you guys though for the early holiday presents you sent us! :D

this is my new favorite lip shade: scarlet red and off beat pink from ever bilena. wow! they're the cheapest matte lipstick i bought.

this new pair of wedge was given to me by my mom a month ago after we found out our trip was cancelled. and oh they're the comfiest pair of shoes i owned so far :D

i think that's all for now. i'm excited for the christmas break to come.
