DIY | the trail

just showing you guys what my sister wore to her acquaintance party two weeks ago. she asked me what to wear for a party themed acquaintance which was glamour or geek. but knowing me, of course i'd be leaning towards the glam. this dress, which i wore on my birthday three years ago first came up to my mind (minus the black trail) because its shining and shimmering plus i felt like a dress like this shouldn't be sleeping in my closet and just go to waste. this dress might also look familiar to you because i wore it as a top on a party last march (you can check it out here) but with a mullet skirt. and since its been worn twice already i know i just have to reinvent this dress. 

 i found an extra black tulle cloth at home and so i made use of it and i sew it near the waist area of the dress and cut it to my sister's desired length and voila that's how it looks like. haha just a simple DIY to reinvent an old dress with its new black trail. what do you guys think?

the fall of eve

first of all my title post is so irrelevant, i don't know where it came from, on a second thought, i think i do. i've read that line somewhere in a local magazine and i have no idea what to name this post so might as well be: fall of eve. haha okay, enough!

second, i'm not really the dress type of girl. i bought this dress because i was supposed to attend a christening yesterday morning but because i woke up late so i didn't make it. really sorry for my absence.  anyway, still wore it yesterday and paired with some kicks. i was not in the mood to wear some heels that's why i came up with a pair of sneakers.

and oh tomorrow's feb 14/v-day! what are you guys up to? movie, dinner date, yeah? whether your taken or taken for granted (like me) and whatever your plans are for tomorrow i hope you guys will have fun. and oh lastly, don't forget to look your best!! :)

so this is what i wore today, a huge plaid polo i looted from my dad's closet (again!) haha. yes, its becoming a habit already. i mean men's clothes are really easy to mix and match plus they're so comfy to wear. i swear! (it rhymes!! haha) wore this out as a cover up to my dress, which i'm not really fond of wearing, because the weather is really bipolar but i kind of predicted the weather already (like a weather forecaster :p). yeah, seriously. it drizzles in the morning, the scorching heat of the sun is unbearable in the midday and another heavy rain pours at night (actually, right now as we speak, its raining outside our house).

so its the last friday of the year and tomorrow's the new year's eve, which reminds me of the movie which i haven't watched yet. anyway, back to my post. since tomorrow's the new year's eve already, my sister and i accompanied our mom to the city as she ran errands and bought groceries for our dinner tomorrow. today was really draining, everyone was also on their last minute shopping and all shopping malls are packed. we also went to church this afternoon and i prayed for a blessed 2012 for me, my family and everyone! :)

young, wild and free

this is a very late post. all these photos were taken two saturdays ago and i just did not have enough time to post them because i've been really busy with a lot of stuff. school's been keeping me busy like hell (what's new, right?) especially that i'm down to the last 4 freakin' months in school. YAY!

well anyway, i went to this pre-Halloween party last October 30 at my friend's restaurant (click the link to navigate to their fb page). actually i wasn't sure i was going to this party because i thought i was going out of town with my family on that date but unfortunately all the tickets were sold out, so instead i went to this studio to have my pre-graduation picture taken with my friends (BTS shots will be posted soon). after which, we parted ways and i had lunch with my mom but then my friends called me telling me we were going to a friend's party. and to cut the long story short we did went to this Halloween party.

enough with the rants, here are the photos. 

i din't had a chance to have a decent photo of what i wore that night but this will do. haha took this while the dance floor was still empty.

one fluky day

It says 7:33 AM here on my clock. haha this is probably the earliest time I posted something on my blog. Well actually I just came from my clinical duty (10 pm - 6 am shift) and I just feel so sleepy but then when I got home,  I don't feel sleepy anymore. How weird is that? Well anyway, I just feel so glad that I made it through my first day without falling asleep while on duty. So this is another random/fluky post, so please bear with me. 

This LBD I wore here is not actually mine. It's from my sister's friend. A week ago, I think, I saw this cute dress from my sister's closet, I tried it on, snap some photos and I actually liked it. It kinda made me look one size slimmer. haha So, Masako, if you ever get to read this post, sorry for wearing your dress without your consent (I don't think she knows this blog exists).

FALLEN ANGELS

Okay before you all start wondering who's outfit post you're about to see below, let me introduce you to my little sister. This was actually what she wore last weekend to her graduation ball but this photo was taken like a few weeks back when her dress arrived from the dressmaker. And the title post was their theme, I can't totally remember what the whole title theme was but it was something like fallen angels.

 

I've been wanting to make my own outfit post but I can't because of the lack of time and other than that this past two weeks all I've been wearing is my uniform for duty and my sleeping garments. If you wanna know why, well its because I'm on PM shift (2PM-10PM) for two weeks which means I get home at around 11 and when I get home I directly go to sleep and wake  up late the next morning and then go to duty again. Yeah that's how tiring my two weeks have been.

So for now let me just grab some sleep 'cause tomorrow's going to be a long day.
